If you’re ready to make your own pine resin salve, this simple recipe creates a powerful, grounding, protective balm. Pine resin has been used for centuries for its antimicrobial, soothing, and skin-supportive properties—and with a boost from Envirem Skin Defense, it becomes an even stronger ally against environmental stressors. 🌿🛡️✨
🧪 Ingredients You'll Need
Pine resin (foraged/collected)
Oil — equal amount to resin (Coconut oil, almond oil, or olive oil all work beautifully) 🥥
Envirem Skin Defense (extra support for parasites, fungus, bacteria & frequencies)
Grated beeswax — ¼ cup per 1 cup combined resin + oil 🐝
🌲 How to Make Your Pine Resin Balm
1. Combine Resin & Oil
Mix equal parts resin and oil (example: ½ cup resin + ½ cup oil). 🥄
2. Melt the Resin (Safely!)
Pine resin is highly flammable, so melt it gently: Use a double boiler — a glass bowl over a saucepan with gently steaming water. The bowl should not touch the water. 🌡️💧
3. Simmer Slowly
Stir occasionally until the resin is fully melted. This can take around 1 hour. ⏳
4. Strain the Mixture
Strain through muslin or a fine mesh strainer to remove debris. 🧼
5. Add the Beeswax
Pour the strained mixture back into your double boiler. Add ¼ cup grated beeswax per cup of resin/oil mixture. Heat gently and stir until fully melted. 🧴🔄
6. Add Envirem Skin Defense
Once the beeswax is fully incorporated, add a couple sprays of Envirem Skin Defense for boosted skin support and protection. 🌿✨
Your Salve Is Ready!
Pour into tins or jars, let it cool, and enjoy a grounding, aromatic, protective balm straight from the forest. 🌲💚
