Detoxification vs. Elimination
Detoxification vs. Elimination

Why Detoxification Isn’t the Same as Elimination One of the biggest misconceptions about detoxification is thinking that once your body mobilizes a substance, the job is done.

It isn’t.

Your body has to process, transport, and ultimately eliminate what it has mobilized.

And in our modern world, where we are exposed to countless environmental substances on a daily basis, the body may have a harder time keeping up. You can end up mobilizing substances without effectively eliminating them.

That’s why I’m always more interested in the whole terrain than simply asking:

“What can I take to detox?”

Because mobilization without adequate elimination can create a very different situation.

Detoxification is a process.

Elimination is the goal.
