Lyme Disease
I see so many people dealing with Lyme lately. It has been brought to my attention that Lyme may not only be transmitted through ticks, but potentially through a variety of insects (mosquitoes, bees, and even ants).
It starts to make sense why so many people are struggling.
The Two Stages of Lyme Disease
There are two stages of Lyme disease.
Stage 1: Acute Lyme Disease
This stage occurs in the first few weeks following a bite from an infected tick.
In this early stage, symptoms may include:
👉 Flu-like symptoms 👉 Fatigue 👉 Generalized soreness 👉 Headaches 👉 Bull’s-eye rash
Symptoms can progressively worsen over time if not addressed.
Stage 2: Chronic Lyme Disease
As the condition progresses, it can become chronic.
Chronic Lyme disease symptoms may include, but are not limited to:
👉 Arthritis-like pain that spreads throughout the joints (commonly knees and elbows)👉 Migraines
👉 Stiff neck
👉 Body aches
👉 Bell’s palsy (partial paralysis of the face)
👉 Fever and chills
👉 Persistent fatigue
👉 Irregular heartbeat
👉 Dizziness
👉 Shortness of breath
👉 Electrical sensations
👉 Memory loss
👉 Difficulty concentrating and various mental disturbances
There Is Still Hope
Let’s not get discouraged — help is available for Lyme and other tick-borne infections, and there is reason for hope.
People dealing with Lyme can get better.
Inflammation & Supporting the Body
One of the major symptoms associated with Lyme disease is inflammation.
Supporting the body by reducing inflammation may help create an environment where the body can rest and better respond.
